Frequently Asked

A few of the questions we have heard most often. If yours isn’t answered here, please write to us.

What is the dress code? +
Saturday’s wedding is black tie. Friday’s Shabbat welcome dinner is festive formal.
How is the weather in January? +
January is one of the best times to visit Mexico City, with warm days and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evenings, especially for outdoor portions of the events.
Is transportation provided? +
Yes. Private shuttles will run to and from Friday and Saturday’s events from all three hotel blocks (Four Seasons, JW Marriott, Sofitel). You will not need to arrange your own transport to the venues.
Can I bring a plus-one? +
Your invitation will indicate whether you have been invited with a guest. If you have questions about your invitation, please write to us directly.
Are children invited? +
We adore your children, but our celebration is adults-only aside from immediate family. We hope this gives you a weekend to enjoy the city. If you’re planning to bring your kids to Mexico City, just let us know if you’d like assistance with childcare and we can work with our wedding planners.
Is Mexico City safe? +
Yes. Mexico City is a safe, wonderful place to visit, and we’ve spent a lot of time there ourselves. We’d suggest the same everyday awareness you would use in New York or Paris. You’ll be staying in Polanco, Reforma, and Roma, some of the safest and most walkable neighborhoods in the city, and we’ll have security on hand at both events throughout the weekend.
Is the food and water safe? +
Yes. Restaurants and hotels are well set up for international guests, and the water served to you is safe to drink. We’d just skip water straight from the tap.
Can I extend my trip? +
If you’re deciding to travel somewhere else in Mexico following the wedding, we have several recommendations, whether you’re looking to relax on the beach or explore one of the many Pueblos Mágicos, like San Miguel de Allende. Just reach out and we’re happy to share.
How do I RSVP? +
Please reply by 1 November 2026 through the Paperless Post invitation.
Will there be kosher food? +
Yes, both the Friday Shabbat party and Saturday wedding will have kosher food.
What if I have another question? +
